A SUMMER WEDDING IN THE SWISS ALPS
I met Alysha & Nic at one of my very early weddings. Alysha was the maid of honour at Ashley’s wedding in Palm Beach and her and Nic had flown over from New York to be there for the day.
You can imagine my surprise and how honoured I was to receive an email from Alysha some years later saying that her and Nic were engaged, that their wedding would be in Switzerland and asked if I would go there to photograph it for them!

What ensued was an amazing, whirlwind 72 hours with Alysha, Nic, their friends and families in the Engadine Valley in Switzerland.
Their ceremony, high on the summit of Muottas Muragl overlooking St Moritz was wild and breathtaking and being able to simply step outside during the reception for photos at sunset only to be greeted by fields of wildflowers and snow capped mountains was everything a wedding photographer could ever have hoped for. Oh take me back.

A small, thoughtful and beautiful detail, Alysha and Nic’s wedding bands were made from gold which Nic had panned from the river during trips to their family holiday home in the valley as a child.
