When Sarah & Rhett were in touch to say that they were getting married at a new wedding venue in Blackheath, I was excited and intrigued to say the least. Owned and operated by family friends, Yabba Yabba is a beautiful large 1880’s home, set amongst private gardens with an amazing circular lawn, perfect for intimate ceremonies or sunny afternoons with family & friends!
The weather in the lead up to the day was not playing ball. When I met with Sarah & Rhett the night before, Sarah was wearing gumboots and I’d packed umbrellas in preparation. You can imagine our excitement when it ended up being a perfect mountains Autumn day!
I loved the way that the currently mandatory covid QR codes were displayed, it was definitely the nicest I’ve seen and worked seamlessly as guests entered the property. It was a relaxed day, in a beautiful setting with an emphasis on celebrating with close friends and family which came together perfectly. Congratulations guys and thanks so much for having me there to capture this milestone in your journey together.
If you’re looking for a Blue Mountains wedding photographer, I’d love the opportunity to capture your day in a thoughtful, relaxed and timeless way, creating heirlooms for you and your family to look back on for generations to come, with all of the love tears and laughter you shared on the day.
